- Fletching: This is the skill of creating bows and arrows. More about this skill will be described below. Note that any non-highlighted sections of the tables below are items that can be wielded by non-members, but cannot be created by them.
- Creating Bows:

Step 1: Cut down a tree. Depending on what tree you cut down, you'll get a different type of wood. Different woods can be used to create different bows.

Step 2: Use a knife (
) with
the logs (
) and choose to make a bow. Choose to either make a shortbow
or a longbow (see ranging page for more info about bow types). You
will create an unstrung bow. -
Step 3: Find a flax plant (
)
and use it with a spinning wheel (
) to create a bowstring (
). -
Step 4: Use the bowstring with the bow to make a bow that can be used as a weapon.

- Creating Arrows:

Step 1: Use a knife (

ordinary logs ()
to create 10 arrowshafts () -
Step 2: Add a feather (
)
to the shaft to create a headless arrow (
) -
Step 3: Add a metal arrowhead to the shaft. Better metal arrowheads will do more damage than lower metal types. Be warned, the better the metal, the better the bow needed to fire the arrow. Arrowheads can be bought at the member archery store or they can be smithed by the player.

Step 1: Craft oyster pearls (

into oyster pearl bolt tips (

by using a chisel (

Step 2: Use the oyster pearl bolt tips with crossbow bolts (

to create oyster pearl bolts (

Making Darts: Must have completed the Tourist Trap quest

Step 1: Smith the dart heads (see Smithing). Remember that the better the metal, the greater the amount of damage done by the darts.

Step 2: Add a feather (
) to the dart head to create a dart.
