- What is Herblaw?:
Herblaw is the newest skill that has been added into the Runescape
world. This skill is currently restricted to the members only
service. Herblaw is the skill of creating potions (such as a strength
potion) and identifying different herbs. The higher the player's
herblaw skill is, the more potions he or she can create. Each and
every herb can only be identified and used when a player's herblaw skill
reaches a certain minimum lvl. Once a herb is identified, the player
can continue use it, but he/she will never have to identify it again.
All potions require the combination of a herb and a second ingredient.
The herb must be placed in a vial (bought at the herblaw
shop) that has been filled with water ()
to create an unfinished potion.
Then add the second ingredient to create the potion. Some potions require some of
their ingredients to be ground or crushed. This can be accomplished by
buying a pestle and mortar from the herblaw shop. All potions give 3
doses, each dose having the effect listed below.

Skill Boost:
Just like magic, mining, and smithing, there are special drinks that will
temporarily increase the left-hand side of the herblaw stat. One is a
Greenman's Ale (), available only in the Yanille pub. This offers a
guaranteed +1 boost to your herblaw. The other option, which is more risky
than the ale, is to get Poison Chalices ()
from Stankers, who can be found standing next to
the coal trucks up at the coal mine NW of Hemenster. This has a random
effect, which will either do nothing, cause damage to your HP, or
increase/decrease stats temporarily.

special shop serves some of the needs of all people that use the herblaw
skill. It is located in Taverley, which is a members only area.

this herb, you must have at least 67 agility. Proceed into the Yanille
Agility Dungeon until you find lvl 69 Salarin the Twisted (). Kill him to
receive a Sinister Key () (only about 10% chance of getting this drop).
Use this key with the chest that is guarded by 5 lvl 54 Skeletons ().
Danger! You will be hit with a poison arrow when you open the chest,
so have a poison cure on hand. When you open the chest you will get 9

Harralander.

* Weapons poison only works on other players, not on the
in-game monsters. Poison can only be put on arrows and daggers. The
Poison antidote will provide immunity to poison for a short time. The cure
poison potion will not. |
