  • Spinning:

  • Step 1: Get either flax (Flax) or wool (Wool)

  • Step 2: Use the item with a spinning wheel (Spinning Wheel) in order to refine it

  • Pottery

  • Step 1: Mine clay (Clay)

  • Step 2: Add water (Water in a Bucket or Water in a Jug) to clay

  • Step 3: Use wet clay (Wet Clay) on pottery wheel (Pottery Wheel)

  • Step 4: Place unfired pottery in kiln (Pottery Kiln).  There is a chance that the pottery will crack when heated.

  • Semi-Precious Gems:
  • Step 1: To obtain these gems, mine the gem rocks that can only be found in Shilo Village, which can only be entered after completing the Shilo Village quest.

  • Step 2: Cut the gem (requires a hammer (Hammer) and a chisel(Chisel))

  • Note: The 3 new members gems that can't be used in jewelry (opal, fire topaz, & jade) have a 50% chance of being cut.  If you don't successfully cut them, you will end up with a pile of crushed gemstone (Crushed Gemstone)

  • Jewelry: Requires a lvl 5 crafting stat (minimum)  & a lvl 40 smithing stat
  • Step 1: Mine gold nuggets (Gold Nugget)

  • Step 2: Smelt them into gold bars (Gold Bar)

  • Step 3a: Get either a ring mold (Ring Mold), a necklace mold (Necklace Mold), or an amulet mold (Amulet Mold)

  • Step 3b (Optional): If using gems in your jewelry, have them cut (requires a chisel(Chisel)) and in your inventory.  

  • Step 4: Place the gold bar in the furnace again, and select what type of jewelry you wish to make

  • Step 5 (Optional): If you want a gem in your jewelry, select to place it in the jewelry when asked (must have a cut gem and the crafting lvl needed to make)

  • Step 6 (For Amulets Only): Get some string (Yarn) and use it with the amulet to create an amulet that can be hung around the neck, enchanted, or sold at a jewelry store

  • Get A Dragonstone: The only source of dragonstones besides other players is the chest in Taverley.  However, this chest requires a rare crystal key to be opened.  However, aside from purchasing the key from others, you must find and unite the key's two halves.  The 2 ways of finding key halves is to kill NPCs or to open caskets.  When you retrieve the teeth half () and the loop half (), put them together and you will have the ? key ().

  • Leather:
  • Step 1: Kill a cow (Lvl 8 Cow)

  • Step 2: Pick up the cow-hide (Cow Hide)

  • Step 3: Take the hide to the tannery in Al Kharid

  • Step 4: Talk to the Tanner (trade leather (Leather) for 1 cow hide and 1 gp)

  • Step 5: Get a sewing pin (Sewing Pin) and some thread (Thread)

  • Step 6: Use the pin to sow leather items

  • Holy/Unholy Symbol (Holy Symbol of Sardomin/Unholy Symbol of Zamorak): Requires a lvl 16 crafting stat, a lvl 20 mining stat, & a lvl 20 smithing stat.
  • Step 1: Mine a silver nugget (Silver Nugget)

  • Step 2: Turn it into a silver bar (Silver Bar)

  • Step 3: Get a Holy/Unholy Symbol mold (Holy Symbol Mold/Unholy Symbol Mold)

  • Step 4: Place the bar back into the furnace and select make a Holy/Unholy symbol (Holy Symbol of Sardomin/Unholy Symbol of Zamorak)

  • Step 5: Turn some wool (Wool) into string (Yarn Ball), then use the string with the symbol to create an Unblessed Holy/Unholy symbol (Unblessed Holy Symbol of Sardomin/Unblessed Unholy Symbol of Zamorak).

  • Step 6a (Optional for Holy): Get the symbol blessed to make it a Blessed Holy Symbol (Blessed Holy Symbol of Sardomin) (raises Prayer stat). This requires a lvl 31 prayer stat because the symbol can only be blessed by a guy (Brother Jered) on the second floor of the Monastery (requires lvl 31 Prayer stat to enter the 2nd floor).

  • Step 6b (Optional for Unholy): Go to the Graveyard W of the Battlefield where you got the mold.  Talk to the Spirit of Scorpius (must have completed Observatory quest to do so) and ask him to bless the symbol.  It will become a Blessed Unholy Symbol (Blessed Unholy Symbol of Zamorak).

  • Glass: Requires lvl 1 Fishing
  • Step 1: Burn seaweed (Seaweed) (found on Entrana or caught with a Big Net (Big Net)) on a fire to get soda ash (Soda Ash)

  • Step 2: Mix the soda ash with sand (Bucket of Sand) (gotten from a sandpit (Sandpit) on Entrana with a bucket (Empty Bucket)) in a furnace to get molten glass (Molten Glass)

  • Step 3: Use a Glassblowing pipe (Glassblowing Pipe) with the molten glass to make a glass object

  • Battle Staffs: Requires an uncharged orb, lvl 54 crafting (at least), lvl 56 magic (at least), & the runes needed to cast the spell
  • Charge the orb by casting the charge spell upon the corresponding obelisk (aka cast Charge Water Orb upon the Water Obelisk), use the charged obelisk to charge the orb, then attach it to the staff (bought from staff shop on member's server)
  • Obelisk Locations: Water: Up a ladder in the Taverley dungeon near Black Dragons
                                  Earth: Found near Chronozon (the demon in the Family Crest quest)
                                  Fire: Near the Black Dragons in the Taverley dungeon
                                  Air: Go past the Black Demons, then up a ladder to the left (see wilderness map for aboveground location)
